Some suggested activities:
Teddy Bear Picnic Blanket Toss:
Put a bear into the centre of a picnic blanket and toss him into the air. Whee! Catch him in the blanket again. Repeat until the bear complains of a tummy ache!
Mom or Dad hide all the teddy bears. (If you are in the woods, set some boundaries so they don’t wander off too far.) Let the kids seek out their stuffed friends. This can be fun at night too – hide the bears in the open and give each child a flashlight. Warning: Some younger children may not want to give up their bears, so be sure to ask before you hide them!
Teddy Bear Sack Race
Use a sack or pillow case and race to see who can get to their teddy bear first!
Teddy Bear Face Paint
Each participant can get their face painted with an image of a teddy bear or for the more artistic ones…go further and paint the entire face to look like a teddy bear!
